Developing Again...

It has been at least five years since I have been able to go into the 'head-down' application development mode...and man have I missed it. One thing is for certain, I should be buying Pepsi stock (Pepsi produces my caffienated beverage of choice, Diet Mountain Dew.)
The other thing that I had somewhat forgotten is that I cannot think straight in a quiet environment, and often not if I am seated. So I have broken out my MP3 player and noise cancelling headphones and have been cranking up the Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Executioners. The Sex Pistols, Rush. Zepplin, and Skynyrd are all ready to be moved onto my Sansa as well.
Going back into a hard code programmer role has been like slipping on a comfortable pair of old shoes.
Oh by the way, things are going really well with my project.
