  • Ex US Army helicopter pilot - flew UH-60s Blackhawks, UH-1s Hueys, and TH-55s
  • Born and raised in central Indiana.
  • I've had quite a few parents (2 natural, 4 step) I am certain that each left an indelible mark on my character, and for the most part I thank them for that.

  • Finished (barely) in the upper half of my high school class
  • Big Dog Aficionado - Had Bernese Mountain Dogs (two - Asti and Bo) and currently have a Newfoundland (Molly)
  • I’m the middlemost of 5, 3 girls and 2 boys.  At certain points in my life I was also the youngest (before my little sister and brother) and oldest (after my older two sisters left home)
  • Logic is my strong suit.
  • Two children - 'E' (born in 1995) and 'Z' (born in 2003)
  • I’m a Wintel person, though I have worked on RISC boxes (RS/6000 & AIX, Sparc and Sun/OS-Solaris), and some Linux on various platforms (including my laptop computer in 1994!!!)
  • Coach girls volleyball for the Boys and Girls Club of N'ville
  • I drink alcohol occasionally and enjoy it.
  • Lived in Frankfurt Germany for three years while in the US Army
  • Read voraciously, a trait I attribute to my step mother
  • I believe that the military is a very interesting mix of patriots, criminals, and fools and you won't fit in unless you posses at least two of those traits.

  • I have met many people via the internet, some scary, most very cool.
  • The person who has had the greatest influence on my life was my (step) Grand Father Dr. Arthur Rhamy.

  • I drive a 1999 GMC Jimmy, good for what it is, but can't really recommend it.
  • Owned and operated two separate software development businesses during the dot com boom era (neither were dot com businesses though)
  • I've bailed hay, detassled corn, birthed calves, and mucked stalls
  • Can program in C, C++, Delphi, Java, Visual Basic, C#, Javascript and LotusScript
  • When I went into the military I weighed in at 148 lbs, almost disqualified for weighing to little.  Thats changed (dramatically!!!)
  • I am a senior DeMolay, but haven't joined the regular lodge
  • I think Tony Hulman George made an excellent decision when he created the Indy Racing League
  • I am not very competitive, I just must win at all cost (not absolutely true).
  • I tend to agree with the philosophies of Ayn Rand.
  • The teacher who has had the greatest influence on my life was Brownsburg High School's Sharon Gibson - Latin 1,2,3 and Yearbook Advisor.
  • I tend to lean to the right, capitalism is a natural state for humans, and globalization is an evolutionary thing that should not be impeded.
  • One of my grandmothers (step) and all my parents and all but one step-parents are still living.
  • I used to travel a great deal, for work. Now I occasionally travel for pleasure.
  • I’m a Taurus and have no idea what that means other then that I am bull headed (stubborn).
  • I code Java in Eclispe, write HTML in DreamWeaver, XML in Altova, and Flex in FlexBuilder (and LotusScript in the Domino Designer)
  • I wish I could complain about my greying hair, but it is leaving before it turns grey.
  • Actually, the military SPH-4 pilot helmet is responsible for my (very) near baldness
  • My favorite restaurant is Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse in Castleton.
  • I am an absolute motorsports nut.
